There are a number of options if you are looking to buy a home in the Desert Ridge area of north Phoenix. The neighborhoods are distinct, from luxury condominiums to spacious single family homes to more affordable patio homes as well. One aspect they all have in common is they are part of an excellent master planned community. The school system is rated excellent. Aviano      Aviano at Desert Ridge was built by Toll Brothers from 2004-2008.
It is the premier master planned community in the North Phoenix area.
There are 902 single family homes comprised of 30 different models.
Price range $490K to $1.1M.


Bella Monte   Bella Monte at Desert Ridge has 69 buildings each housing 5 condominiums
for a total of 345 when complete. There are 3 pools each with a small excercise room.
The community is gated at night. The project was started in 2007. Priced $245K to $450K

Cielo  Close to Desert Ridge Market Place on the northern boundary of Desert Ridge,
this location is all about easy access. They offer 10 different home plans ranging in
square footage of 1800 to 4000. Both single level and two story homes are available.
Parks and walk ways are some of the community amenities. Homes come complete
with Granite countertops, tile floors, front AND backyard landscaping and window coverings. Built by DR Horton. There are a total of 252 homes. $375K to $650K.


Fiesta  Built by Trend Homes in 1998 and 1999, all 149 homes in this
subdivision share a common driveway. The average sq ft of a home
in Fiesta is 1562 square feet. $200K to $245K

Fireside  A master planned community by Pulte with multiple types of housing, community center and numerous community amenities. $271 to $820K

Sky Crossing

The 410 acre parcel of land at the NW corner of Black Mountain Pkwy and Deer Valley Rd is a joint venture recently purchased by Taylor Morrison (Sanctuary) and Pulte (Fireside). The land is zoned for 15 parcels consisting of 9 different single family detached home products ranging from 1500-5000 sqft of living space. There will be gated and non gated sections, amenity centers, pocket parks, and an elementary school.  Although the development is NOT part of the Desert Ridge Master Plan, Sky Crossing has been annexed as part of PVUSD. Until the new elementary school is open those students will be attending Wildfire Elementary. The community land and hardscapes will resemble Aviano and Fireside.

La Verne  Built 2004-2005 by North Peak Construction. There are 260 units.
Gated condo community with 2 pools. Priced from $177K to $310K


Toscana  Statesman resorts began construction of this multi use condominium
community in 2008. Owners park underground. There is a $3.5 million dollar two
story clubhouse with recreation, business and fitness centers along with 2 heated
pools. Priced $165K to $400K


Wildcat Ridge  Built by Continental Homes in 2000, Wildcat Ridge has 261
homes. 139 are single story and 122 are 2 story. Average sq ft is 1882.
$275K to $355K


Villages at Aviano  Toll Brothers began building these condominiums in 2006.
There are 28 buildings that have 14 units each for a total of 392 units. A total of
nine different floorplans for this community. There is a heated pool and covered
area for residents who can also use the Aviano community center across Rough
Rider Road. $230K to $408K

Estates At Ridgeview   A gated community of 40 homes and 6 different models built
by Ashton Woods. Building took place 2013-16 and home sizes range 2742-
4500 square feet. There is a grassy picnic area and walking trails through the
community which lies west of Pinnacle High School and East of Reach 11 Sports Complex.


This gated community by Taylor Morrison offers 13 different floor plans

ranging in size from 1629-4018 square feet on 105 acres. A total of 270

homes will include an additional 5 floor plans from 3300-4300 square

feet and from 4-7 car garages on 13 of those lots ranging in size from

not quite .5-1acre. Nearly two-third of all homes at Sanctuary will back

up to natural open space. Amenities include a playground, ramadas with

picnic tables and BBQ’s, sidewalks and trails throughout. There will be a

clubhouse having a multi-purpose room with catering kitchen,

indoor/outdoor fireplace, exercise area, pool, lounge areas, outdoor fire

pit, BBQ area, seating, and shade structures.
